Berneslai Homes have sent out their annual report to all of its tenants and residents recently; It sets out how the company has performed over the 2010/11 financial year and how they plan to improve services this year.
For the first time the annual report has been written jointly between staff and tenants and includes feedback from the tenants of the Berneslai Challenge Panels. The Berneslai Challenge Panels were set up by the Barnsley Federation of Tenants and Residents last year. They work alongside the tenants and residents of Barnsley to scrutinise the service that is provided by Berneslai Homes. There are four panels: the tenant involvement and empowerment; home; tenancy and neighbourhood and community; and value for money.
Berneslai Homes Director of Business and Customer Services Dave Fullen adds, ”We’re really proud of our achievements in 2010/11 with this report clearly showing the benefits of listening to and learning from our customers.”
