What our Home Panel found from their mock scrutiny
Looks at the quality of accommodation ensuring it meets the decent homes standard, and the repairs and maintenance to ensure we have a cost effective service that is responsive to need and is right first time.
Berneslai Homes said:
- We met all the National Standards and 18 of 20 of Local Offers
The Panel said:
- Its great that all homes met the decency standard by Dec 10, but still need to monitor the Barnsley Homes standard.
- Repairs service is good but are concerned that not enough satisfaction surveys are completed.
- Recommend:
- Operatives carry and issue satisfaction surveys.
- Roll out the ride outs
- Draft a leaflet about tenants repairs responsibilities
