Barnsley TARAs share good practice
On
Tuesday 1st November Berneslai Homes held their fourth ‘Talk Up
TARA’ day for the 19 Tenants and Residents Associations (TARA) across
Barnsley, at Wilthorpe Community Centre, Barnsley
The event was well attended by over 50 community representatives who shared good practice and ideas for marketing and branding their TARA groups. The TARAs are involved in many community projects to improve their local areas and it is essential that this work is shared with local people and that they are encouraged to join their TARA
Customer Services and Engagement Manager Sarah Barnes adds,”The TARAs are really important in challenging Berneslai Homes and helping to ensure that we deliver excellent services which local people really want. We are proud that our TARAs work together to represent the views of the local community and champion their issues.”
