LOCAL HOUSING AGREEMENTS

New Local Housing Agreements are being drawn up to replace the  area based Tenant Participation Compacts.

The new agreements focus on the steering group areas and aim to give clear information about the services provided  and the standard of service customers can expect from Berneslai Homes. The agreements also cover the way customers can make a difference to their community by becoming involved in helping to shape the services offered.  Barnsley Federation of Tenants and Residents has been involved in the preparation of these agreements, and joining the Federation is one of the ways that both tenants and residents of Barnsley can become involved in influencing the services in their area.
