The Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is responsible for the day to day running of the Federation. At present the committee consist of officer posts all of which are elected at our AGM in May. They usually meet monthly and all decisions made reported back to the Management Committee. The minutes of Executive Committee meetings are circulated to all member TARAs and Independent Members.
Members elected onto the Executive Committee are usually members who have a lot of experience in the Federation, but sometimes a member might be elected because they have a particular skill that is needed by the Federation.
The Management Committee
The Management Committee are the heart of the Federation.
It consists of:
- Two voting delegates from each TARA. Other members can attend and take part in discussions but will not be able to vote
- Independent members
The Committee are a group of tenants and residents, that meet on a monthly basis to share information and help influence issues relating to tenure. They are involved is discussion on all matters that the Federation considers important. The minutes of Management Committee meetings are circulated to all member TARAs and Independent Members.
