BMBC Stategic Performance Consultation Meetings
This is a council meeting between the Executive Director of Development and the Barnsley Federation of Tenants and Residents.
Those who attend the meeting are:
- the Executive Director of Development
- The Assistant Director of Strategic Housing
- Principal Office Strategy and Enabling
- Liaison Officer to Berneslai Homes
- Customer Panel Officer
- Cabinet spokesperson for housing
- Five representatives elected by the Barnsley Federation of Tenants and Residents (two from the Executive Committee and three from the Management Committee
- Any other people invited to the meeting
Any proposals for changing existing procedures or plans for new
procedures, are taken to this meeting as the first stage of the
consultation process
The council's proposals for policies are put forward at this meeting.
The meeting acts as a forum for sharing information on:
- education
- social care and healthcare
- planning and delivering of services
- Berneslai Homes performance and forward planning
- Berneslai Homes' housing estates
- how Berneslai Homes inspect, manage and maintain and sell or transfer housing
- crime and disorder
- training and employment
- special interest groups.
Meetings are held at least every three months, and special meetings
are arranged as necessary
